To my humble abode. Really. My guess is, you will be seeing a good bit of changing around going on here, at least for a while. My hope is, eventually, to teach myself enough about web design that I can design things I’m happy with. I don’t know how long that will take. At this point, quite possibly a goodly while. But I’m here, and you’re here, and so, really, what more does it matter?

Update:Ā  Yeah, I moved again after that.Ā  I couldn’t figure out all the code.

  1. Congratulations on moving to a real hosting environment. That’s definitely the best way to learn. WordPress is a good choice, especially for learning CSS and XHTML, since you’ll be playing with a solid foundation.

You’ll want to fix the comments textarea as Emily mentioned (too wide, at least in firefox). Also, you should put a link on the root of your site to the blog, or just have it re-direct.

But those are minor things – don’t worry about messing up. That’s how you’ll learn. šŸ™‚

  2. Wow. I didn’t write the template, just found it online. But I will look into fixing this bizarre, large, pink box problem. But this is fun.

And I don’t really have a homepage yet. Just a pruple screen with black writing that says that one is coming šŸ˜‰

  3. Ok. One large pink box problem fixed. Though I think that has less to do with my skill (since I discovered that this template is written in PHP, which I really don’t know) and more to do with the fact that it looked like the right place to put a smaller percentage šŸ˜‰

  4. All better. =)

    I like it.
